What species of wood is used?

Our river reclaimed original Timberchic planks are a mix of spruce and fir. We offer a hardwood white oak and a locally sourced red pine from our Timber Collection. We create our Barnwood style planks from our reclaimed spruce and fir and our locally sourced red pine. 

Can this be used on a ceiling?

Yes, Timberchíc works and looks great on ceilings! Just remember a clean dry smooth surface is best for installing Timberchic!

How much variation is there in the planks?

Our Reclaimed collection has the most variation. There will be natural wood character and color variations from the wood being under the water since the 1900's. The Timber collection products will offer you a more consistent overall look, with White Oak and Red Pine natural characteristics.
